SCOPE OF SEVEN SKIES COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION

This notice applies to the following categories of users:

Field clerks: these are the organisational users who use our mobile application to collect data using digital questionnaires that the organisation has setup in advance

This notice governs data collection in connection with service provision. For example Seven Skies' Food Security Assessment collects one off user location data if questionnaires requires to be linked to a specific location for responders. Our practices are subject to application laws in the places in which we operate. This means that we engage in the practices described here in this notice in particular regions only if permitted under the lats if those places.

DATA COLLECTION & USAGE

Food Security Assessment collects personal data:

provided by users, such as during log in,
created during responding to questionnaires, such as location, if questionnaires required it.
from the user inputs as they respond to questions setup under questionnaires

The following personal data is collected by or on behalf of Seven Skies:

User provided data provided by users, such as during account creation
- User profile: We collect data when users create or update their user accounts. This may include their name, email, login username and password, including their role.
- User content: We collect that data submitted by users as they respond to questions, that have been set up in advance.
Data created during use of our services: created during use of our responding, such as location, app usage
- Location data: If questionnaire has a questions where the respondent is required to indicate the location from which they are collecting the data from then the app collects one off location data

HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA

Seven Skies uses personal data to enabel reliable and convenient responding to digital questionnaires. The data is also utilised for:

reporting purposes that the user sets up before hand
in connection with any legal proceedings

Seven Skies does not sell or share user personal data with third parties for their direct marketing or for any other purposes.

We use personal data we collect:

To provide our services: User provided data is used to provide, personalize, maintain and improve service delivery. This includes and is not limited to:
- create/update user accounts
- facilitate accessing questionnaires set up for different organisations

DATA RETENTION & DELETION

Seven Skies retains user data for as long as necessary for accountability as well present as evidence incase of any disputes from any of the users or stakeholders. Users may deactivate their accounts at any time. Seven Skies may retain user data after they deactivate their accounts due to legal or regulatory requirements.
